What to do
- Tell us the postcode and the problem. Urgency changes the answer, so say what is wrong rather than just booking a service.
- We check the routes covering you. Technicians work postcode clusters, so the answer depends on where the day's jobs already are.
- You get a straight answer. If we cannot reach you quickly we say so, rather than pencilling you in and cancelling.
When you really need a same day mobile mechanic
Some things genuinely should not wait: a flashing engine management light, a car that will not start reliably, a brake warning, or a new noise under braking. Those are worth calling about rather than booking online, because we may be able to move something.
A routine service that is a fortnight overdue is not urgent. Booking it for next week costs you nothing and gets you a better slot.
What we are not
We are not a recovery service. If your car is broken down at the roadside, you need a breakdown provider, not a mobile technician. We come to a car that is parked on private land, which is a different job with a different set of equipment.
